Enlightenment in the young mind is rare, but epiphany is the first step. Boxing was like that for Mikiah.
As part of Bicycles and Ideas for Kids' Empowerment, swimming lessons at Matt Dishman Community Center, formerly known as the Knott Street Boxing Gym, led b.i.k.e. to introduce old friends to young minds while snacking after swimming.
Matt Dishman is where b.i.k.e. started, and Knott Street Boxing and Cyclisme Racing Programs have collaborated many times.
Simply because Mikiah started cycling on long rides when she was a young child, does not mean she intends cycle all her life.

Mikiah sees the cycling team as a familiar means to an end.

Little boys and girls know Mikiah doesn't play. When she puts her foot down, you better listen.
